Portiger is the trading name; the licence agreement for the software is made with the sole trader named above. The sale itself goes through Polar Software, Inc., the merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, handles the tax and issues the invoice, so the seller on your receipt is Polar and the vendor of the product is us. Nothing is on sale while the beta runs. The detail is in the terms and billing and refunds.
What we build
One product: server control plane software — one binary that runs your applications as stacks on your own servers, with deploys from Git, a reverse proxy with automatic TLS, DNS, scheduled jobs, secrets, backups, metrics and a mail server. It runs on machines you rent or own. We do not host your workloads and we have no access to them.
