Four editions. The free one is not a trial.
Every edition runs on your own machines. Community stays free and keeps working; what the paid editions add is the mail server, scaling and, at the top, three nodes acting as one.
Portiger is in early access and none of these are on sale yet. The numbers are settled; what is missing is the product being finished. Ask to be told when it ships.

A node is a machine in the workload pool. Every plan includes the node Portiger is installed on; Max lets you add two more over SSH, three in total.
What happens when a plan ends
If a subscription is not renewed, the licence stops being reissued and the installation falls back to what Community allows. Nothing is deleted and no container is stopped by us. The details, including how the daily licence check behaves, are on the licensing page.
